| What is Demonstrating?
|
| Demonstrating
is showing and telling customers what Tupperware
products can do for them. Demonstrating Tupperware
brand products at home parties is what being
a Tupperware Dealer is all about! |
 |
| What is the flow of
a Tupperware Party? |
The typical Tupperware
Home Party lasts between one to one-and-a-half-hours

| How do I set up an
attractive product display? |
 |
Start with a clean, seasonal
tablecloth. |
 |
Create different levels by using small
books or boxes under the tablecloth.
|
 |
Include a variety of products and
colour-coordinate if possible. |
 |
Use seasonal decorations as accents.
|
 |
Keep the display simple and uncluttered. |
 |
Place ribbons on your Hostess Gifts.
|
|
 |
| How do I conduct the
actual product Demonstration? |
Begin
with an attention-getting opening
An attention-getting opening should
present a problem that can be solved with
a Tupperware product. You could also ask a
question or make a statement the Guests can
relate to: Example:
"Would you like to know how you can save
time, space, waste and taste?"
Translate
Product Feature into product benefits
A feature is a characteristic of a product
such as colour, shape, size or cost. A benefit
tells the customer what that feature will
do for them. Example:
"Because this container is liquid-tight
(feature) it helps you carry liquids while
traveling without the worry of spillage (benefit)."
Paint
word Picture
Just like a beautiful painting can help you
imagine a far-off land, a 'word picture' helps
Guests imagine how they'll be using that product
in their homes.
Example: "Imagine how
wonderful it would be to have the fresh, crunchy;
tasty vegetables you put in your refrigerator
today come out just as fresh tomorrow!"
Involve
the guests
You'll hold Guests' attention longer if you
involve them in the demonstration by asking
questions or calling them by name.
Example: "Rohini, with
your busy lifestyle how do you think you would
use this product?"
Invite
Action
Inviting Action, or closing the sale, helps
Guests make a decision about owning a particular
Tupperware product.
You can invite action by pointing out where
the product is in the catalogue and then pausing
so Guests can circle the item or write it
on their order forms. Example:
"Whether you use this product for a salad
bar or your favourite fresh fruits and dip,
I know you'll appreciate its versatility.
You'll find it on page 11 of the catalogue,
its number is 163." |
| A few things to remember…
|
 |
Treat your Tupperware
products like fine china. |
 |
Seal the products on your display
table. |
 |
Don't turn your back on Guests while
demonstrating. |
 |
Return products to your display in
the same position. |
 |
Refer to products by their names.
|
 |
Demonstrate each Seal thoroughly.
|
 |
Refer to our product 'points of pride':
safety, extraordinarily designed, world-famous
Seal, lifetime guarantee. |
