Turning challenges into opportunities, making the new normal better
Sonalipa Chatterjee, EM, New Castle Party Sales
Like many others, Sonalipa relied on face-to-face interactions for her Tupperware business before COVID-19. But as 2020 presented the challenge of lockdown, she had to rethink her strategy. She started exploring Facebook to coordinate assemblies and drive regular business with her entire sales force. Soon she was conducting weekly product training in her FB group of 100+ members. With each passing week, new consultants are joining the group as fresh recruits and along with consultants who were unable to attend assemblies physically. Sonalipa now creates engaging content like weekly quiz/tips/recipes for her salesforce, thus, enabling them with ideas on how to sell different products. Digitization not only impacted her business positively but also helped her synch up with her teams effectively to reach many more consumers. FB has become a great platform for product demonstrations, recipe showcase and customer interactions. In NAW week, she did 75 COF and all her 5 managers did the level of 12+1. She has been able to deliver her weekly & monthly sales consistently. For a model where physical meetings and human touch was the only way of selling and recruiting, adoption of the virtual process has been a turning point for Sonalipa and her managers.

Tupperware Distributor being #VocalForLocal with the power of Social Media
Rajni Gupta, High Fliers Sales
In October, a video of an elderly citizen in tears as his business – a small roadside eatery – suffered a setback in the lockdown, surfaced on the internet. His makeshift shop in South Delhi's Malviya Nagar locality was not doing great. Overnight, the elderly owner-couple and their shop Baba ka Dhaba rose to fame following a heart-touching video by a YouTuber that invited a massive amount of help. One of our Distributors, Rajni Gupta, from High Fliers Sales, as a pro-active gesture from the brand, went and supported the eatery owner. Rajni provided them with Kitchen prep and storage products on behalf of Tupperware. Rajni's picture was also carried in one of the National channels.
